An online massage course with us at Massage & Spa School is a course that you can study entirely from home, and you can start whenever you want, why not today?
I have just sat down in my office and was going to start going through all the emails that came in last night and now also during the night, it is so incredibly nice to see that the interest in an online massage course with us is increasing every week that goes by. It’s equally nice to read all your emails with questions.
Whilst it really makes me so happy to see your questions and the interest, it’s just as nice to sit here and read what former students are saying about their courses with us via their great reviews on our website, Google and on Facebook.
From the bottom of our hearts, we are so incredibly grateful for all the warm words we receive, in the end it’s all about one thing for us and that is that you as students are satisfied with your education with us.
Checking my emails everyday – a challenge
Imagine, that the inbox of emails that some six months ago could be cleared in an hour now needs to be checked and answered three times a day, once in the morning, just after lunch and also one last time in the late afternoon (or at least I try).
Just keep them coming and we promise to answer all email inquiries regarding our online massage course and other questions as soon as we (or I) can. I always aim to answer all emails within 24 hours. Otherwise, we can usually provide the quickest response to all your questions via our chat function here on the site that can be a bit fickle at times.
Are you living your dream? Our starts with an online massage course
It’s pretty cool though when I think back to how it all started for us with our school to now offering an online massage course to become a massage therapist along with our intensive courses with us in Gran Canaria.
Our school has really attracted more students, online and on-site, than we almost dared to dream of. However, when it comes to our various places here in Gran Canaria, it’s safe to say that over the years there have been ups and downs and then ups again.
Nothing has come for free, and nothing has been served, it’s just been hard work all the way that has made us successful at what we do. So, if you ask us if we are living our dream, it’s a resounding YES to that question.
I find myself feeling so incredibly fortunate to be able to work with what I want and who I want and to be so privileged to live and work in this wonderful climate here in Gran Canaria.
Warmer climate all year around
Andreas once said when we were moving, “I’ll never wear long trousers again, I’ll just wear shorts and a t-shirt from now on”, he hasn’t worn long trousers since then either (except when we’re “home” in Sweden visiting). That’s a pretty big adjustment for someone who is from northern Sweden and used to -35C in the winters.
Even though we’ve worked hard to be where we are today, we know, as I said, that we’re really privileged to do what we do and to be able to live and work in one of the best year-round climates in the world.
Living a dream also once started with a goal and then working to achieve it. Everyone can work towards one or more different goals, even if it’s not exactly living their dream, everyone can work towards a set goal.
The first thing you need to do is decide what you want to achieve. What is your goal? What is your dream? Here I personally think that dreams are meant to be fulfilled because otherwise it only stays a dream and usually nothing more.
Set your goal and work smarter instead of harder – or both
A set goal is of course different for everyone and can be anything from working as a self-employed masseur, living in a certain place, getting a certain type of education, earning up to a million dollars etc.
So, if you are ready to work to achieve your particular goal then I recommend working to the well-known formula for goal setting, SMART.
S= Specific, M= Measurable, A= Assignable, R= Realistic, T= Time related. Do a quick Google search of the formula together with the word goal setting and you will get a good result on Google with lots of pages describing in more detail how to go about it.
Student satisfaction is the most important thing!
A couple of weeks ago, I received an email from Joanne in Dallas that I find myself pulling out and reading from time to time when I could use an extra boost or kick in the butt myself.
Joanne writes: “I had long been interested in manual therapies but have not been able to afford to train and have also struggled with low self-esteem for a long time. When I found your online massage course to become a massage therapist, it meant I could both afford to do it and study it from home. My dream has always been to live in the Caribbean, now I live here and work as a masseur and self-employed. I owe a lot to you that I have fulfilled my dream”. (Note: Joanne has given her permission for us to publish this).
I shudder every time I read Joanne’s emails and although we are so incredibly happy that Joanne feels we are part of making her dream come true, it is you Joanne and all of you out there who first decided what you wanted to do and then managed to do it through strong will and hard work.
As far as our training at the Massage & Spa School is concerned, as we often say, the most important thing is that you as students are satisfied with your training with us.
